That is not hip. Not enough ventilation to the roof system will accelerate the age of your roof and put your investment at risk. We break down the system with equations and determine if it is efficient. We show our work as if the teacher wants to know how we got it. We address it and offer to correct it.

Everyone wants "Ridge Vent", but not every roof system allows for it. We run our formula (1:300) on the attic space to make sure "Ridge Vent" is the ideal exhaust system that allows the roof to breathe properly.

The vents rely on wind to circulate the air in your attic. Wind Turbine vents are efficient. They are not pleasing to the eye as they sit about a foot and a half off of the roof and the moving parts are exposed to the elements. When it stops spinning your roof is not winning.

Both are ideal for venting the roof system. It all depends on the structure of your roof. You should never mix exhaust systems. Exhaust should be at the highest point of the roof. Intake should be at the lowest point.
